蒼島は香川県高松市で石材を使ったものづくりをしています。
香川県は、工芸の歴史があり、イサム・ノグチをはじめとした多くの著名なアーティストに愛され、美しい建築物や造形物が今なお数多く存在している土地です。
その工芸の歴史を継続し、さらに発展させていくためにもアーティストとの協業によるプロダクト開発や、香川にゆかりのあるアーティストや建築家による作品の復刻を手掛けています。

## 蒼島について
株式会社蒼島（あおいしま）は「石材業に関わる職人が主体となって産地の魅力を伝えたい」という強い思いと産地の多くの方々のご支援、ご協力のもと、設立された会社です。

産地の抱える課題と向き合いながら、庵治石や牟礼町、庵治町の産地の魅力を国内外問わず多くの方々に伝え、歴史ある産業を後世に遺していけるように、多くの方との協業により様々な活動をしています。

AOISHIMA Inc. is a company based in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, Japan, that creates products using natural stone.
Kagawa Prefecture has a long history of craftsmanship and is beloved by many renowned artists, including Isamu Noguchi, and still home to many beautiful architectural structures and arts.
To continue and further develop this artistic heritage, AOISHIMA is engaged in product development in collaboration with many people, as well as the reproduction of works by artists and architects with ties to Kagawa.

AOISHIMA was established with the strong desire to promote the appeal of the production area by the initiative of stone craftsmen themselves, with generous support and cooperation from many people in the Aji stone production area.

While facing the challenges of the Aji stone production areas, we work collaboratively with various partners to convey the charm of Aji stone and its production areas to many people inside and outside Japan, with the goal of passing on the historic industry to future generations.
